What does class-based action mean? Class-based action is about more than massive ships with earth-shaking weapons. In Dreadnought, no team is invincible; every squad has strengths and weaknesses. Turning the tides of battle requires the ability to work together, outmaneuver enemies and deftly manage energy between weapons, engines and shields.

How many ships are in the game? There are currently 51 ships in the game. What are hero ships? Hero Ships are vessels inspired by legendary ships that fought during the Great Solar War. Owning a Hero Ship also enables you to equip its parts on ships of the same class i. A fleet is a lineup of ships that you assemble and take into battle. In Team Elimination, your fleet provides you with a selection of ships to choose from before you jump into a match.

There are three fleet levels: Recruit, Veteran and Legendary. Each fleet level can only accommodate ships from a range of tiers. Every vessel in the game belongs to a specific tier from I to V in one of three Manufacturer Trees, which you can progress through to gain access to higher-tier vessels.

The non-Steam version of Dreadnought will no longer be usable once the game comes to Steam. Players with the "old" version of the launcher from our time in Beta will need to delete the game and download the Steam version here once Dreadnought is available.

Once Dreadnought is released on Steam, PC players will be unable to play without a connected Steam account. PS4 players do not need a Steam account to continue enjoying Dreadnought. Yes you will. Many of our back-end services and tools have been updated in such a way that the previous version of Dreadnought is incompatible with these improvements. By being on Steam however, we are able to greatly reduces the initial download file of the game and increase the download speed of updates!
